Complexity made simple and effective
We contacted Charlene Overell at G3 because we were becoming more and more aware that approaching retirement we had no financial plan for the future. Whilst we were in a very fortunate position of having made some good investment decisions, every time we tried to plan how we would use our assets it became too difficult. On our own we were just not able to identify what we needed to do to secure our future.
G3 and Charlene have helped us immensely. Following a detailed analysis of all our investments, outgoings, aspirations and goals she suggested ways forward that helped us make critical decisions. She has undertaken a very complex exercise to get a variety of pensions transferred from the UK and has suggested approaches that seem so obvious now but that we just could not see. As a result of her involvement we now feel under control financially with a much simplified yet effective investment approach.
Some years ago we might have said that the involvement of an organisation such as G3 would have been un-necessary and costly; however, we would have been wrong on both counts. Thanks to Charlene, not only have our stress levels dropped but we are in a better position financially; life would have been much simpler had we been introduced to G3 a long time ago.

I contemplated switching portfolio management companies for many months before deciding to make the switch to G3. I asked my knowledgeable accountant for a recommendation and G3 was one of two. I can unequivocally say I am very happy I made this switch and time will tell if my choice of portfolio categories was a prudent one.
In addition to this primary focus came other services offered by G3 which I have found exceedingly helpful – from recommending a different private health provider company and why, to alerting me to my eligibility for superannuation, to suggestions concerning my trust. Having to bring our pensions over from UK is not something I had ever thought about, however, changes in the UK forced me to do some serious thinking.
