G3 was established in July 2009 by three directors with extensive experience in financial services, covering banking, insurance, investing and financial planning, both in New Zealand and in the UK and South Africa.
Financial planning is fundamentally about relationships, and from the beginning, we wanted to make a difference in our clients’ lives, both from a financial perspective, by growing their wealth and protecting their families, and from an emotional perspective – giving them security, peace of mind, and financial freedom to enjoy their life.
Those core values are unchanged today. We believe that the ‘personal touch’ matters, that we are there when our clients need help, that we ‘get things done’ and do what we say we’ll do, and that we ‘know’ our clients deeply and what matters to them. This means we can tailor our advice to what’s in their best interest when they need it. Collaboration is also key, and we regularly coordinate with other professionals in our clients' lives—lawyers, accountants, mortgage advisers—to ensure that we are all on the same page, supporting our mutual client.
